About Mark
Mark Jans has always had a keen interest in sports (golf, tennis, football, athletics) and keeping Fit, Healthy and Injury Free. This interest led Mark to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. Mark is an Australian registered Physiotherapist and graduated from Latrobe University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics with first-class honours.
Mark has extensive experience in the areas of private practice Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy, Occupational Rehabilitation, and Injury Prevention Programs. Mark has consulted to the Melbourne Golf Injury Clinic, National Back Evaluation Network and A.I.S Golf Program. Mark also has consulted to a number of large companies and sporting clubs over the years (Toyota, Murray Goulburn, Tip Top, Dons, National Foods, Hella, CSL, TNT, North Melbourne FC) to name a few.
Mark’s qualifications and 22 years of experience provide him with an exceptional knowledge of physical function and rehabilitation. This enables him to thoroughly assess the whole body (nerves, muscles, joints, movement patterns and behaviours) to identify the underlying cause and factors contributing to your pain.
Mark will show you practical ways to minimise aggravating factors, poor movement patterns and safely improve your posture, flexibility and strength to prevent your injury from returning.
Mark enjoys travelling, photography, golf, keeping fit and eating out.
